The Short Version
We do not collect, store, or sell your personal data. The only outbound network call the application makes is an optional UPC lookup to pre-fill item details, and that request contains no information about you.
Our Application
Our model railroad tracker application runs entirely on your local device. All data you enter — your roster, layouts, and any other information — is stored locally on your machine. We have no servers, no accounts, and no way to access your data.
UPC lookups. When you scan or enter a barcode, the application may query a third-party UPC lookup service to pre-fill product details such as the item name and manufacturer. This request contains only the barcode number — no personal information, account data, or anything else that could identify you is included. You are subject to that service’s own privacy policy for those requests.
This Website
This website (crossedsteel.software) does not use tracking scripts, analytics services, or advertising networks. No cookies are set. No personal data is collected from visitors.
There are no accounts to create and no forms that collect your information.

Other than the UPC lookup described above, we do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services on this website or in our application.
